The Lion King

We are really looking forward to your production this year.

It would be great if you could tell us a bit about yourselves and what part you are playing, how you got the part, what it means to you and how you feel about the big day.

I am playing as Nala I worked really hard to get the part I tried all of the solo's what Nala sings. The first time I tried a solo last year 2006 I put the mic down and cried because i was that scared of what people might think now it's as if I sing all the time i'm not as nervous as i was at the start. It takes a lot of confidence to stand up there and sing Can't wait for the big day it will be great.
I hope the year 6's next year do great aswell when they do Oliver my advice is don't be scared just enjoy yourselves.

In the production I am Zazu. I am glad I am this part because I think I am kind of funny and I like being a main part. I think I got the part because I tried to get up and sing a few songs and I was willing to work really hard if I got the part. I am a bit nervous about the big day because there will be lots of people there and lots of my family are coming to watch me! I hope lots of children will come to see it from our school.

Wow guys! Doesn't seem like 5 mins since you were in Year 4! I've heard some of your rehearsals and they sound AMAZING. I can't wait to see the real thing. Whether you're dancers, singers or both... EVERY one of you will make your production that little bit better. I'm very proud of you all.

I am getting more and more nervous as it gets closer to the big day. We are going to start having dress rehersals which will be funny. I am not really nervous because I know all my lines and songs. I can't believe we only have 5 days including the weekend till the first night of the real thing. I hope everyone does great. It is really good and I think it is worth watching especially for £2 for an adult and 50p for a child and this is including refreshments. I hope everyone enjoys it.

That it was a wonderful performance and that all that took part should be congratulated. A lot of hard work has been put in by all classes involved to learn their words and lines.
A show that is not to be missed.
Well done to all.
